Gower family rock climbing

Spring is here, the weather is good, so we're off out to the Gower for the first weekend of rock climbing of the year. There are a few family friendly crags, so we visit West Tor between Oxwich and Three Cliffs Bay, which is on the beach and has a handful of low difficulty routes. But the tide is coming in...



Pwlldu and Caswell Walking

Last weekend we went back to Pwlldu Bay and found some dolphins (or porpoise), and some more great views. We followed the coast path eastwards to Caswell and up into Bishopstone woods.



Half-term holidays

I managed to take a few days off work while the kids were on a half-term break so we popped across to London to see some dinosaurs, spacecraft and moon rock, and grabbed a few sneaky geocaches while we were there. On the way back we stopped in Cheltenham to see friends and family and went out to place the geocaching trackable that we found last week in an animal friendly location (as requested by the trackable owner) with a very large dog.



Llanmadoc Hill Walking

Last week we had a cracking outing, again to the far end of the Gower, up on Llanmadoc Hill. We followed a circuit across the hillside with some beautiful, hazy, February views.
